Discovery-Corp is focused on exploration of high quality gold and copper properties. Our small team is experienced in mineral exploration and skilled in geology, public company management and raising investment capital. Our priority is exploring and developing mineral properties that create value for our shareholders.

History

The Company was incorporated in British Columbia in 1986 and became a public-traded company on the Vancouver Stock Exchange in 1987. The Company changed its name from Getchell Resources Incorporated to Discovery-Corp Enterprises Inc. in 2000. During its history, the Company has owned interests in oil and gas and lumber manufacturing but has always maintained interest in mineral properties including the Galaxy which it acquired in 1990. Mineral exploration will continue to be the Company’s principal business.

Alex Pannu, LL.B
President and CEO
Alex Pannu, President and Chief Executive Officer, is currently the Director of Legal and Corporate Affairs for EPI Environmental Products Inc., an environmental technology company. Previously, he spent five years as a consultant at NATIONAL Public Relations, public affairs, government relations and communications company serving multinational corporations in the energy, mining, pharmaceutical, construction and technology industries as well as the federal and provincial governments, Crown corporations and First Nations organizations. From 1999 to 2002, he was General Counsel for a publicly-listed software company and from 1994 to 1999 he was a securities lawyer private practice in Vancouver. He was also in public service as a senior political advisor in Ottawa and Victoria to number of cabinet ministers. Mr. Pannu is a member of the Law Society of British Columbia, Canadian Bar Association, Association for Mineral Exploration BC and the Canadian Investor Relations Institute. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from the University of British Columbia and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of New Brunswick.

Iain Brown, B. Comm., M.Sc.
Chief Financial Officer
Iain Brown, B. Comm, M.Sc., Chief Financial Officer, Corporate Secretary and Director is also the Managing Director of Crimson Tide, a consulting company providing strategic planning advice to multinational companies. Mr. Brown has over 20 years of public company experience including corporate finance at Yorkton Securities (Now Blackmont) and being a director of exploration companies. In addition to public company finance experience Mr. Brown was a Commercial Banker for both the Royal Bank of Canada and the Bank of Montreal. Mr. Brown earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree and a Master of Science (International Business) from the University of British Columbia.
